Position Purpose: 

Client On-Boarding team’s goal, is to ensure a global and consistent “first service” is rendered to the clients. Ensure practices are adhered to bank’s standard procedures and guidelines with an emphasis in the area of compliance. Keeping abreast with the changes in regulations (site, regional, global, HO), assess its impact.

Ensure every client, prospect and counter‑party is screened against sanctions, AML/CTF and PEP lists, mitigating regulatory risk and maintaining audit‑ready records while supporting Relationship Managers and Compliance teams.

• Support the execution of controls and tasks required in the Client‑Onboarding – Data‑Maintenance & Banking‑Services process, ensuring that client documentation, data‑capture activities and banking services meet the Bank’s policies, standards and all applicable local legal‑regulatory requirements.

• Perform daily and name‑screening checks (on‑boarding and periodic re‑screening). Keep watch‑lists, match‑thresholds and screening parameters up‑to‑date, investigate alerts, assign risk ratings, document decisions, and promptly escalate high‑risk matches. Maintain complete audit trails and respond to internal‑ and external‑audit queries. Work closely with Relationship Management, Legal and Compliance to resolve exceptions and drive process‑improvement/automation initiatives.

• Provide end‑to‑end support to internal customers for the onboarding of new clients, including linking clients to banking‑service tools (e.g., direct advisory‑desk access, dormant/deceased accounts, block/unblock requests).

• Maintain sound work processes, data‑integrity and the secure storage of client documents (electronic, scanned‑image or paper).

• Stay abreast of regulatory changes (site, regional, global, head‑office) and assess their impact on local workflows (SG/HK).

• Verify that controls are in place for the safe custody of account documentation and for mitigating operational risks arising from user requests to access databases containing sensitive client data, signatures or document images.

• Administer requests from internal regulators and stakeholders in relation to audit reviews; provide timely, confidential handling of client data and information.

• Deliver training on data‑maintenance and banking‑services processes and share knowledge with new team members; act as Level‑2 checker where required.

• Contribute to the design, implementation and continuous improvement of permanent‑control policies, procedures and control‑plans for daily operations; assist with updating SOPs.

• Comply with regulatory requirements, internal guidelines and operational‑risk procedures; promptly escalate incidents to Management, Permanent‑Control or Compliance as appropriate.

• Report all incidents through the Incident‑Management System and help minimise operational failures (including fraud) by applying regular controls.

• Ensure the integrity of client‑data creation and maintenance while meeting SLA/KPI targets; manage account‑closure processes.

• Prepare regular management reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/periodic statistics).

• Provide regional support in line with SG and HK working hours and public‑holiday calendars.

• Work collaboratively within a flexible, transversal team; coordinate with internal partners (WM‑COB SG/HK, Compliance, Legal, Front‑Office, Client‑Onboarding & Due‑Diligence, and other WMHK/WMSG support teams) to resolve complex cases and maintain a smooth support process.

Job Title: Analyst – Documentation/Drafting team

Department: Markets Operations (FXMM-OTCD)

About Business line/Function: The FX MM OTC business line drives the origination, execution and post-trade processing of all over-the-counter foreign-exchange and money-market transactions across the bank’s global client base. It delivers end-to-end trade lifecycle services—including confirmation, collateral management, DVP settlement and exception handling—while adhering to the highest standards of risk control, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. Leveraging a unified technology platform and a worldwide network of clearing partners, the team ensures seamless, timely and secure settlement outcomes that underpin BNP Paribas’s liquidity and pricing capabilities in the FX-MM markets.

Position Purpose:

The officer will be a part of the confirmation drafting team for Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Equity Derivatives, Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

* The Drafting team is responsible for ensuring that all BNP Paribas confirmations are Dispatched to clients i.e Interbank and Corporate Clients. The team covers a wide range of products traded by the Trading desks such as Vanilla products and the more complex Structured trades.

* The Drafting team is also responsible for performing final verification of the trade economics before dispatching the final confirmations to counterparts.

* The team works closely with other Trade Processing teams, legal teams and Front Office to ensure timely communication for any booking discrepancies, template issues and outstanding confirmations.

* Also, in the light of EMIR regulation and risk reduction, the target is to match all confirmations within one day and globally to reduce the outstanding confirmations delay.

* Confirmation Drafting/Execution responsibilities:

1. To draft confirmations with counterparts for wide range of Products including Foreign Exchange, Money Market, Equity Derivatives, Credit and Interest Rate Derivatives.

2. To perform final verification of the trade economics before sending the final confirmation to counterparts

3. To support secondary events during the product life cycle such as Novation, Early Termination, etc.

4. To closely comply with EMIR, FED and Dodd-Franck regulation

5. To follow up any type of amendments requests

6. Draft and validate ISDA/AFB confirmations by referencing booking systems and term sheets for both financial institutions and corporate clients

7. Ensure confirmations are sent or suppressed in accordance with procedure

8. Ensure accurate completion of drafting tasks within the internal service level agreements, client requirement and regulatory timelines

9. Prepare draft confirmations for potential trades as necessary

10. Ensure all correspondences are indexed into system to allow for future data retrieval

About Business line/Function: 

Global Market Securities Settlements team ensures that Security transactions (Bonds, Equities, Complex Securities, ETF, SLAB, PNS..) and positions registered in the books under CIB ITO’s mandate, match the commitment actually taken with counterparties within a secure setup, in accordance with Group and Regulatory Policies and/or contractual agreements. 

Within the Securities Settlement Department, the main processes include pre & post settlement activities, clearing, and event-related accounting for securities deemed in scope.

 

Position Purpose: 

Primary responsibilities of the team include:

·         Settlement of Security transactions and associated products in a timely and cost-effective manner

·         Timely resolution of nostro and depot breaks

·         Mitigation of operational and reputational risk by escalating in a timely and efficient manner

·         Liaising with clients, brokers / counterparties and other internal support functions for smooth settlement of trades

 

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the settlement of Security transactions & associated products booked in on a timely and cost effective basis by:                      
    • Ensuring all trades are instructed, matched & settled on a timely basis
    • Monitoring of failing trades 
    • Reducing fails and/or potential fails by means of pairing off or partialing down deliveries
    • Minimizing fails by means of partial deliveries where possible
    • Pre-matching trades on a daily basis
    • Cash Management related with funding trades
  • Responsible for solving Nostro and Depot reconciliation breaks on a timely basis: 
    • By investigating and, where possible, clearing all nostro breaks in reported by Securities Control teams 
    • By passing entries to the systems to clean up outstanding items on a timely basis 
    • By investigating and, where possible, rectifying all depot breaks on a timely basis reported by Securities Control teams 
    • By investigating and solving accounting breaks raised by Control & Accounting teams 
    • Escalating items that represent operational risk to the direct Manager 
  • Contribute to the minimisation of settlement costs & operational risk: 
    • By becoming more risk aware and by following the procedures or Compliance rules that are in place to mitigate operational or reputational risk 
    • Monitors and take appropriate actions in case of market risks (buyins) 
    • By seeking to improve STP rates at our custodians so reducing cost, by updating static data as and when necessary 
    • By reducing the number of manual instructions sent to agents therefore reducing cost, manual intervention and settlement risk according to Compliance rules 
    • If necessary, using the escalation process when operational risk is detected 
  • Contribute to the overall successful running of the settlement department: 
    • By maintaining close relationships with traders and sales and escalating problems to them promptly where required 
    • By maintaining good working relationships with domestic agents and custodians 
    • By communicating with, and assisting, other operational departments where needed 
    • Ensuring direct Managers are kept informed of any potential problems & issues where appropriate.

Position Purpose: The BNP Paribas Fortis IT department is currently working in Agile mode, which offers a challenging and motivating environment where teams and employees are empowered to manage their own technical domain.

You will work in the agile production Services: IT APS Channels.

Responsibilities

The mission of this position is to maintain our Oracle environment (about 900 Oracle instances for the entire APS),
ensure data integrity, availability of environment and provide support to developers.

A knowledge on MongoDB is also required as second technology.

The job mainly consists of the following elements:

·         Migrate of databases from legacy to cloud.

·         Performance and tuning of Oracle databases.

·         Ensure data integrity and maintain a high level of systems availability.

·         Maintain multiple Oracle databases following the cloud architecture and standards.

·         Develop scripts, while providing documentation and procedures. 

·         Collaborate and work with developers.

·         Manage internal security in the Oracle databases.

·         Manage MongoDB databases.

 

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

·       Knowledges in MongoDB(+++), SQL Server(++) and PostgreSQL(+)

·       Knowledge on Cloud (Iaas, Paas).

·       In depth knowledge of Oracle databases 19c

·       Knowledge in performance and tuning.

·       In depth knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM).

·       Knowledge of Quest TOAD.

·       Knowledge with PL/SQL.

·       AIX/Linux server administration knowledge.

·       Be able to work in Agile Way Of Working.
