Management Accounting & Control Functions

·         Perform reconciliation between various Management accounting systems to substantiate balances and breaks pertaining to revenues.

·         Post monthly journal entries (accruals/prepayments) & adjustments in management accounting system for correct management reporting

·         Ensure monthly revenues reporting (Flash/Actuals) & other related management reporting (Cost of Risk/European Central Bank reporting/etc) to Head Office are completed within pre-set deadlines

·         Assist in monthly system parameters checking; update and maintain referential (i.e. mapping tables) for which the team is responsible

·         Work closely with regional Meter PMs / Country PMs and Head Office Finance in analyzing business performance

·         Provide analysis and response to questions raised by HO Finance / Regional Finance / internal management

·         On a timely basis, provide complete and accurate financial data to the Reporting Team for report production

·         Preparation of business line wise reports providing insights to the management on business performance (covering P&L and headcount) using BI solutions such Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI

·         Provide assistance in responding to questions / requests for information to auditors, regulators 

·         Escalating problems / issues to the team manager 

·         Perform necessary controls, raising questions to the senior reporting analysts for further guidance on material issues

·         Document and keep procedures for the production of all reporting tasks up-to-date

About Business line/Function: The Subject Matter Stream is primarily responsible for month‑end closing, oversight and control of day‑to‑day transactions, Cost of Risk bookings, operations and activities, and recording revenue from Global Banking and Financing activities.

Position Purpose: Financial Accountants are responsible for the daily upkeep and control of the general ledgers for their assigned entities, whether linked to specific products or broader, cross‑functional areas. When required, they coordinate with other teams to review and implement potential adjustments. Position Purpose: 

The US Financial & Regulatory Reporting Team is responsible for the production of financial and regulatory reports and information required to ensure compliance to regulatory expectations as well as other internal monitoring requirements. The Local Regulatory Reporting team is under expansion and going through different projects of on-boarding new processes along-with implementing changes in accordance to new BNP accounting and reporting system (OFS).

  • Enforce quality assurance / control:

Responsibilities: Daily Operations (Delivery of Daily Net Asset value of Mutual funds)

Direct Responsibilities

  • Role will require good understanding of NAV Life cycle and controls to ensure the fitment for Checker role along with preparer of funds.
  • Need to be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the process with complete knowledge & understanding of NAV Calculation Processing & Review across variety of funds & instrument types.
  • Ensure NAV calculations are produced in a timely manner as per SLA. Completeness of NAV packs includes accurate report generation, timely delivery of reports, scanning & archiving.

About Business line/Function: Fund Accounting

Position Purpose: Fund Accounting operation / production 

Responsibilities: Daily Operations (Delivery of Daily Net Asset value of Mutual funds)

Direct Responsibilities

·         Associate will be responsible for preparation of task involved in NAV delivery and reconciliations

·         Acquire complete understanding of NAV Calculation & its related functions with various parties involved. For example: Custody, TA, Pricing, Corporate Actions, etc.

·         Become a SME (Subject Matter Expert) of the process by acquiring complete knowledge of NAV Calculation Processing across all funds & instrument types.

·         Ensure all reconciliation breaks in TA, Cash & Stock are validated and justified for each calculated NAV.

·         Ensure NAV calculations are produced in a timely manner as per SLA. Completeness of NAV packs include accurate report generation, timely delivery of reports, document and evidence controls. 

·         Adhere to Quality & Timeliness as per SLA. Ensure No Material or financial Impact.

·         Be proactive in resolving queries and escalate immediately to the supervisor on any issues/queries/escalations.

·         Participate in preparation / updation of Key/Standard Operating Procedures for each process and fund/ client specification

·         Carrying out other ad-hoc duties may arise from time to time, mainly at month ends & year ends.

Contributing Responsibilities

·         Monitor the respective group mailbox and respond quickly to the queries. 

·         Ensure ISAE 3402 checks are understood and followed. 100% compliance is must for all NAV packs.

·         Act as a back-up in the absence of other team members. Manage the leaves appropriately.

·         Ensure to minimize the unplanned leaves, especially during business-critical days, like month end, Yearend, rollover days and migration of new funds or BI events

·         Should come up with minimum one process improvement/automation initiative per year 

·         To share the process/product knowledge with fellow team members.

·         Ensure Participation in CSR & Other engagement initiatives
